The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University, Fullerton, is conducting a search for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Experimental Biochemistry, with an appointment starting Fall 2026. As a comprehensive institution, we value faculty with a strong commitment to college teaching in STEM.
We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in biochemistry, chemical biology, biological chemistry, or a closely related field, and relevant postdoctoral experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong record of research productivity, a commitment to teaching using student-centered approaches, and the ability to mentor a diverse student population. The position includes teaching undergraduate and master’s biochemistry courses and developing a funded research program involving undergraduate and master’s students.
